Suspected militants on Sunday evening shot at and injured a person, owner of a local cable network in south Kashmir's Shopian district.
A police official told GNS that Hilal Ahmad Malik R/O Malik Mohalla, Shopian was shot at by the gunmen near his residence at around 8:05 pm.
Malik was immediately shifted to nearby hospital where from he was refereed to Srinagar hospital in critical conditions, he said.
Meanwhile, army, police and CRPF cordoned the area and launched the hunt to nab the attackers. No one has been arrested when this report was filed. (GNS)
